Hip, edgy and more than a little strange–and I mean strange. Wonkette is/was supposedly written by a hot and snarky twenty something female; Wonkette frequently wrote about some “hot guy”.
Wonder how the new male writer is going to pull that off in an authentic way? Good luck, you “wonker” you.
And as for Ms. Malkin–isn’t it about time for folks to lay off the racist and sexist comments about her? She’s got a point of view. If you don’t like it, deal with–but engage the point of view. If you have to descend to adhominem attacks, you’re really not fully equipped to engage in debate with adults.

Well, one of the new writers was A3G from Underneath Their Robes. I don’t think he’s going to have a problem doing that.
Polybius (116bba) — 5/21/2006 @ 10:00 pmThey just reveal themselves for who they are. And look at her (wonkette’s) readers!
It’s so disgusting and evil. In large measure, this is the modern leftist mind.

Damn, he really *is* creepy, both inside and out.
Federal Dog (49ba76) — 5/22/2006 @ 4:08 ammichelle malkin is on record as supporting the internment of japanese-americans during the second world war, consequently, she will have to fight her own battles without any assistance from me.
assistant devil's advocate (64bf46) — 5/22/2006 @ 7:07 ammichelle malkin is on record as supporting the internment of japanese-americans during the second world war, consequently, she will have to fight her own battles without any assistance from me.
There are many positions that Malkin has that I don’t agree with. And if you disagree with her views on internment, you should argue against her reasons for such.
However if the only argument anyone has against her positions is to call her vile, racist, sexist names that only reinforces her arguements.
I would hope that arguements of substance for and against any position that anyone takes (left or right side) would be the preferred method of discourse. Alas that is not always the case.
I, for one, would condemn anyone for a post such as appeared at Wonkette, whether it came from the right or left.
RLS (0516f0) — 5/22/2006 @ 7:27 amAnother Liberal Arts creep with under-endowment syndrome.Blow him off. No one of any consequnce really reads that foolishness.
paul from fl (001f65) — 5/22/2006 @ 7:44 amWho are the ‘tolerant liberals’ that Malkin is talking about? Is David Lat a liberal?
actus (6234ee) — 5/22/2006 @ 7:56 amThe entry is by the other guy who posts at Wonkette, who is, in fact, lefty.
Angry Clam (fa7fff) — 5/22/2006 @ 8:27 amIt didn’t say it on the entry. But what is lefty of him? Malkin just says he is, but doesn’t point to his bio or anything. She does say he has ‘hip, edgy bosses.’
actus (6234ee) — 5/22/2006 @ 8:45 amOn the Japanese internment thing, I have always wondered whether Michelle’s judgment was not clouded because of the depradations the Japanese committed in the Phillipines (and every other place they set foot on). Although she was born in Philadelphia, she is of Phillipino descent and may even have had blood relatives who were raped and murdered. In any event, I have heard American WWII veterans who survived the Bataan death march express much stronger sentiments about my favorite carmakers.
