		<description>I should have noted that the Nixon story was something that had come out about Watergate. He was trying to associate Reagan with Nixon.

		<description>Evan, I worked at Channel 9 in D.C. for several years in the 80&#039;s as an AD and sometime director, and I can tell you that the culture in TV newsrooms is exactly the same. I made no secret of my support for Reagan, and was constantly getting into arguments with the other employees.

One of my favorite stories involves a newswriter. There was a story about Nixon and a story about Reagan that had nothing to do with each other, but they were put back back-to-back on the news. After the show, I went up to the guy that had written the stories and said, &quot;Nice juxtaposition,&quot; and he said, &quot;You noticed that, eh?&quot;</description>
