Chris Penn Dead

Actor Chris Penn, brother of Sean and Michael, has died. He played “Nice Guy Eddie” in the film Reservoir Dogs. Some of his memorable lines from that movie can be read here.

  1. His best role had to be the sexually frustrated husband married to a phone sex operator in “Short Cuts”. Met him once briefly back in the days when I worked in show biz. Seemed like a nice enough guy. No reason to hang his brothers stupidity on him. Will be missed.

  2. I forgot about that role. You’re right. He was drawing on some seriously repressed anger for that one. His greatest role though had to be in Res. Dogs, where in the end he miraculously managed to die without even being shot! He will be missed.
