Wilson is nothing but a red herring. Face it, even if he was proven a child rapist, Libby’s in big trouble and Rove is soon to follow. Crucifying Wilson isn’t going to help you now.
But why is the white house keeping SCOTT McCLELLAN around when we know that he told lies to the press? He has zero credibility. Why does the press even bother to show up and talk to him? He’s making the entire White House into a big, fat, embarrassing joke. And for what purpose?

Honore into the WH to let him handle press conferences. Anyone think there’s a single member of the WH press corps who would say something offensive to the Gen. with the idea that he would issue a non-apology apology after the fact?

Yes of course. All of a sudden the WH wants to focus on Wilson. In order to remove attention from Libby. The Dems are all of a sudden trying to take the focus off Wilson. On whatever planet you live on.
What exactly is there to talk about with respect to Libby, unless you buy into Wilson’s prevarications? Either he lied to the grand jury or he didn’t. In either case it has nothing to do with any larger issues. Unless you buy into Wilson’s prevarications.
