McConnell Would Be Confirmed

Even Erwin Chemerinsky says Mike McConnell could not be successfully filibustered. I heard him say so on Hewitt’s radio show yesterday. And Chemerinsky would strongly oppose a McConnell nomination.

  1. Great. Just what we need. A law professor who has the support of people like Lawrence Tribe, disapporved of the Gore decision, and disapproved of the impeachment of Bill Clinton. Talk about a loose cannon and another Souter.

  2. What was his reasoning in opposing the Clinton impeachment?
