Some say that the Congressional Report detailing Wilson’s findings was written by White House aids and he was never asked to approve of its wording – or even saw it before it was finished. That would explain why his op-ed contradicts the report too. If that’s true, then Wilson never <i>claimed</i> to find evidence that Iraq tried to by uranium from Niger.
