A Conversation Between Two Dudes
This is the same point made in this post, just in a different way:
Dude 1: Dude, I am conservative.
Dude 2: You are not!
Dude 1: I am! I am way conservative!
Dude 2: Are not.
Dude 1: Am so.
Dude 2: Prove it.
Dude 1: Check this out: I voted for Ronald Reagan in 1984.
Dude 2: Whoaaaa . . . that is conservative.
Dude 1: Exactly.
Dude 2:
Dude 1:
Dude 2: But wasn’t Ronald Reagan re-elected in a landslide, winning almost 60 percent of the popular vote and 49 of 50 states? I mean, Reagan ran against Walter Freaking Mondale. That makes your vote a little less impressive, doesn’t it? Who’d you vote for in 1980? Carter??
Dude 1: Shut up.
Dude 2: Who’d you vote for in 1988? Dukakis?
Dude 1: Shut up!
Dude 2: Didn’t you give money to a bunch of Democrats in 1988?
Dude 1: Shut up!
Dude 2:
Dude 1:
Dude 2: Man, you sound like Lindsey Graham, telling me to shut up all the time.
Dude 1:
Dude 2:
Dude 1:
Dude 2:
Dude 1: I’m conservative.
