L.A. Times Editor: Not Enough About Celebrities in Our Paper

One of the goals of the new L.A. Times editor, according to Kevin Roderick, is to publish “more bits on Hollywood and celebs.”

Because you can never have too much of that!

  1. While they’re at it, why not change the paper’s name and expand beyond the local market. Call it the “Celebrity Times” and peddle it in New York too. There’s lots of loony leftists in the Big Apple, and the local rag is on the ropes. Think big, opportunity is knocking.

  2. Why not hire Frank Rich, he can still write very long and unread political pieces but can switch hit and do entertainment and celebrity articles. What could possibly be better, Frank Rich interviewing Lindsay Lohan on her preparation in playing another spunky teenage girl and then asking thought provoking questions concerning Lindsay’s ideas on the political events of the day? Plus he could ask her about breast implants, how big and their patriarchal significance.
