Supposedly, the debate will be televised, but I can’t find any info on it. PBS? Bueller? Anyone?
CraigC (b6a973) — 9/13/2005 @ 9:55 amSo far so good. I tuned in an hour early, and “Pacifica Radio” is filling up the time with good stuff. Galloway is going to be on Fox News (aka the Fox Hole, or the Fox War Network) next week. Oh, and Cindy Sheehan’s bus made it to Louisiana before Bush’s did; Bush is more interested in mowing down places like Iraq and New Orleans so Haliburton and Bechtel can make a bunch of money. This is why Cheney has been smiling on TV recently – his old bosses will be making lots of money. I’m going to have to listen to this station more often. This is hilarious.
Shredstar (532850) — 9/14/2005 @ 3:37 pmYeah, I’ve been listening to Pacifica the past couple of mornings, since they are the only ones broadcasting the Roberts hearings. The interludes during breaks are pretty amusing. That’s where I learned about Sen. Kohl’s ridiculous hurricane question yesterday. Not surprisingly, the Pacifica people seemed to think it was a great question . . .
Patterico (d51a9a) — 9/14/2005 @ 3:45 pmOkay, this was pretty funny:
Shredstar (532850) — 9/14/2005 @ 4:13 pmWhen President Bush was asked what he thought of Roe vs. Wade, he answered, “I don’t care how they get out of New Orleans.”
Cheney had no bosses at Halliburton ( two LLs by the way ), he was THE boss. I guess you missed the news that much of the cleanup is going to a company out of Baton Rouge headed by the chairman of the Louisiana Democratic Party, J.M. Bernhard, a fact overlooked by the Reuters story in which they DID mention that a consultant working for that company was a former Bush campaign manager.
bureaucrat (0ca614) — 9/14/2005 @ 6:45 pmIt was a funny joke about Roe, however.
