Some quick Sunday links:

Paul Winchell, the voice of Tigger, has died. Ta-ta for now!

The ubiquitous Greg Packer has been reduced to being quoted in a North Jersey Herald & News story about Christian superhero “Bibleman.” “I’m finding myself enjoying it,” Packer says.

Michelle Malkin busts the dude who made the movie Super-Size Me. Turns out he’s doing a new documentary whose conclusion has been determined before it was even made. Hard to believe, I know.

I had totally missed the fact that Power Line published Kerry’s Form 180s.

  1. It’s been a bad couple of weeks for tigers. First Thurl Ravenscroft (Tony the Tiger) dies, and now Tigger.

  2. Unlike powerline, I see something wrong with Kerry’s Form 180: it is an authorization of release only to the Boston Globe reporter.

Plebs like you and I will never get to see firsthand what’s actually in those files.

  3. Paul Winchell, the voice of Tigger??? True, but…

Paul Winchell was and always will be the partner of Jerry Mahoney.

  4. I also heard that the person who did the voice for Piglet also died this weekend. Could Pooh be next? Or Rabbit?

The more important note regarding Paul Winchell’s death is something I was always facinated with when I saw his act on TV. Winchell was instrumental in the development of an artificial heart … he had a patent on some aspect of a particular design (and held a number of various patents)… and I read this weekend that his design may have been a large part of the Jarvick VII artificial heart.
