   He is profound, farsighted, and acknowledges neither camera or photographer — this is the stuff of mere mortals; of the putrid black and white world of markets, broken eggs and middle-class sentimentality.

3. Perhaps just caught basking in a placitude induced by Biden’s erudite analysis of SS which was “Yes, just so. So true!”

4. And, speaking of Biden’s mostly b.s. statement, which did raise the valid question of the “legitimacy” of SS, I will not rest until Patterico is forced to pay into it.

5. Most bloggers don’t bother with a photo. With JM we know he would like us to acknowledge his good looks. His vanity is of a sort that seeks not to engage the viewer, that would be too promotional, he prefers to allow us to be voyeurs. In turn, he acts the Jeff Gannon as hotmilitarystud.com role.

8. He’s acting bored in order to demonstrate how obviously smart he is. Kids in high school do that a lot.
