If one needs any further evidence of MSM bias, it's that they spend inordinate amounts of energy, air-time and ink nit-picking the National Guard record of Mr. Bush ("The Draft Dodger")-- who long ago signed a form DD-180 releasing all of his military records, and yet never ever question why Mr. Kerry ("The War Hero")refuses to do the same thing. Just imagine the MSM reaction if the situation was reversed. And never mind that Mr. Kerry has also refused to release all of his tax returns. Nuff said.

Actally he didn't sign a Form 180, but he did issue an executive order authorizing release of all records. It is, in effect, signing a 180, but literally, it is not. It amounts to the same thing though.

kimsch: Thanks for the correction. Three televised debates; will anyone there ask Mr. Kerry why he will not release his military records?

USC is losing to Stanfurd.

Given that I hate both football teams, I'm hoping for a meteor strike.

Re: The famous quote that the press is worth 15 pts to Kerry in the election.

If Kerry LOSES this election it will ALSO be the press's fault. They didn't vet him during the primaries, the didn't research his Vietnam claims, they didn't innoculate the voters against his Senate voting record, and on and on. They gave Kerry (and all the other Democratic Primary contenders) a pass, because ANYONE, indeed EVERYONE, was better than Bush.

If Kerry loses, it's because the press gave him a pass and he burned himself. The press treated him with kid gloves and the Blog Republic ripped him to shreds everytime he made a mistake.

Legitimate criticism from the beginning by the press wouldn't have killed Kerry, it would have made him stronger.

Just my $.02

At one time I would have agreed with you, but now I'm convinced Kerry would kill himself in any case. He's the single most inept campaigner I've ever seen, and I've got a few miles on this chassis.

If the Democrats _do_ implode to the point that Nader runs second in some states... What's the name of the new party going to be?
