This is one of the most outrageous things I have heard about in quite some time.

The left’s attack on FoX News is the ultimate credit to Rupert Murdoch, Roger Ailes and Brit Hume. They have succeeded in riling the hegemon so much, it warms the heart. Leftists cannot tolerate dissent, just as the old Soviet Gulag couldn’t, because they depend on maintaining their power through hiding the truth. Their views cannot witstand any rational criticism, so they try to censor. I love Fox News.

It’s painting with a broad brush, to be sure — but the linked post indicates that there is much truth to what you say.

Hang on, that’s a pretty significant leap: people object to Fox News calling themselves “fair and balanced,” and it’s an “attack on the First Amendment.”
Give me a friggin’ break. The First Amendment provides no inalienable right to misrepresent oneself. Whether you believe Fox News is misrepresenting itself to advertise as “fair and balanced” is up to you, but just because some of us think it’s an inaccurate description isn’t an attack on the First Amendment. There’s no need to be overreactive about it.

Tom,
Didja read the post????!
Vague threats of legislative measures if Fox News doesn’t toe the line. No First Amendment threat there.
