MORE LEFTISTS ON THE CAMPUSES

Filed under: Education — Patterico @ 6:27 am

PrestoPundit gives a nice quote from someone oppressed by a leftist professor. Highlight: the professor told students that Bush started the war because he had a “hard-on.” Read more here.

The part that amazed me was a student describing required reading at his school: Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, and Michael Moore.

LAPD PURSUIT POLICY

Filed under: Crime — Patterico @ 6:23 am

It’s a good thing LAPD changed its pursuit policy. As I have explained here before, tragedies from police pursuits resulted entirely from the policy — not from jerks running from the cops. Now that the policy has changed, nobody gets hurt any more.

Right?

MORE FUN WITH AIRPORT SECURITY

Filed under: Terrorism — Patterico @ 6:17 am

As reported here, some schmo simply walked past the crack airport security folks at LAX and boarded a plane with no ticket.

UPDATE: Captain Ed provides commentary.

WMD AND JUSTIFICATIONS

Filed under: War — Patterico @ 6:01 am

Steve at Begging to Differ has an interesting post on the theory that WMD were not the main justification for the Iraq war. Steve went searching for proof that this theory was valid, and concluded that it is not.

Memo to conservatives: give this up! Yes, other arguments were advanced. No, they were not the main reason we went to war. Failure to find WMD is a real issue. Stop pretending otherwise.
