This is a huge distortion of the economy, based on nothing but official aggression. Knowing the economics of the alternative welfare society; one knows also that the low-income half of the population, with children in school, are on net public subsidy. The 80's and more recent cohorts of immigrants have a median personal income of only around 15k a year. These willing recruits are very willing to plunder the citizenry.
